Document audit by nationality

Common questions about the process

Do I need a lawyer?

Paraguay law requires a licensed Paraguayan attorney to file residency applications. Our fee includes attorney services — you don't need to hire one separately.

Is the $5,000 bank deposit still required?

No. Law 6984/2022 eliminated the bank deposit requirement for temporary residency.

Can I do this remotely?

The pre-departure and post-filing phases are handled remotely. At least one visit to Paraguay is typically required for biometric submission and local document procurement — often 5–7 days on the ground, but visit count varies by route and file.

What if my application is rejected?

Rejection is rare when applications are properly prepared. In the unlikely event of a rejection, we work with our attorneys to address the issue and resubmit.
